Robert Gaston
Chef Rob grew up in Northwest Iowa and began working in restaurants at the age of 16. He attended the University of Northern Iowa, however, decided to follow is passion for cooking. He then enrolled at the Art Institutes International Minnesota where he would graduate with a degree in Culinary Arts. Chef Rob would go on to be the Executive Chef of several hotels and resorts in both Iowa and the Twins Cities, before moving to Chicago. In Chicago, he would take an Executive Sous Chef position at the Berghoff Restaurant where he won The Knot Caterer of the Year three years in a row.
Chef Rob joined the Delaware North Team in 2013 and is currently in his 11th season at Target Field. In his time with Delaware North, he has traveled to Texas, Baltimore, St. Louis and Milwaukee to support other Delaware North units while their teams competed in the playoffs and/or World Series. Chef Rob has overseen many Premium areas at Target Field, such as the Champions Club, Press Dining and the Clubhouses and has since taken on the role of the Executive Chef.
